| well hello... its been sooooo long... but just a quick update... i'm
back at school and having the most fantastic time... between school,
rushing, cheering and some other activities that i'm pursuing i'm
pretty busy but somehow i still find enough social time.... being gone
from abilene made me realize how much i missed it and how glad i am to
be back. I LOVE IT!!! well... i hope everyone's school year is
off to a great start and that everyone is doing just swell....

| welp it has been a month since i have written in here... and so much
has happened.... i got a job!!! which is by far the most important
cause i'm a little money maker now!! i'm selling stuff for my dad on
ebay which is a blast... my precious friends Blake and Abby got married
and i got to experience the whole thing which was a huge blessing.... i
got to spend time with jenny and beezie and ashley came home!!!! i went
to hawaii for two weeks which was by far and away the best vacation
i've ever taken!!! it was soooo beautiful!!!! marka and ashley came
with us and it was sooo much fun!!! "do you like my shoes?" lots
of fun was had especially with the boys from seattle!!! my oh my!!! i
have to start back to work tomorrow and i'm not looking forward to it
but hopefully on wednesday i get to go to abilene to see sweet abby and
wish her a happy birthday and maybe see a few other people ;) this is
definitely the best summer i've had in quite some time and everything
is going great!!! i hope everyone else is having a splendid summer!!!

| wow its been almost a month since i've updated.... well i'm home for
summer and i have a job with AUI contractors... i'm taking summer
school in july and i'm going to hawaii for two weeks... not much has
happened since the last time i wrote in here ... i'm just glad to be
done with my freshman year of college!! i hope everyone is having a
great summer!!

| sometimes i forget that i even have a xanga... today i found out some
exciting news... casye fowler is staying at ACU which is amazing
because that means that i will still go to school with her which for
some of you doesn't seem like a big deal but i've gone to school with
casye since pre-k so it would be a rather big deal... i got some new
pictures of my niece and i put one up as the background to my computer
and i was looking at her perfectly beautiful blue eyes and i started to
think... what is she thinking? the expression on her face... what
does it mean? some people say that you can tell everything in a
picture if you look at the person's eyes because it truly opens up
their true emotions... and i wish that life could be as simple as it is
for my six month old niece and that the trivial things that happen
right now could all go away... as i ended up the spring semester of my
first year of college.... i started to think about the person i was
when i came to college.. so dependent on my parents and everything
around me but now i think i have matured enough to where i'm
different... not different in a bad way but just more myself.... more
of me is what i want to be and what God wants for me and not
necessarily what my parents or other people around me want... i think
as this year ended i'm reminded of the place where it started... when i
wish that i could have just died because of all the things that were
going on.... aly had just moved, tra had just started chemotherapy for
his cancer and shelly was about to have hayley... but now i'm so
thankful for the way things are... i'm so thankful for everything that
happened because it made us all stronger.... aly knows now that she is
ok if her family isn't there for her all the time.... tra doesn't have
cancer anymore and is completely done which is soo amazingly
wonderful!! and then there is shelly who birthed the absolute joy in my
life... my sweet niece hayley who could brighten up the worst of
situations with her beautiful eyes and playful smile that entirely
affect your mood in a positive way.... that is a just a piece of my
mind.... that i don't know where i would be today if i hadn't
experienced the things i did over the past year.... and for that i'm so
very thankful.... the good times and the bad... this freshman year was
so pivotal and character building for me!! and thank the Lord for the
things that happened.... the sad times, the happy times, the old
friends, the new ones, the amazingly fun times that i had and
everything in between all of those.... thank you to tiffany... both of
you for being there for me first semester and holding my hand through
so much... thank you to sam for being something consistent when
everything else wasn't... thank you to will for filling in when things
got rocky.... thank you to christie, jessica, and meagan for being in
my life this semester and for changing it to be one of the best times
of my life!! thank you hannah, alison, rachel, kristee, laura, benay,
and so many other people for being some of the best friends a girl
could ask for.... As i just reflected over all these times... i'm so
very blessed with the most amazing life! thank you, GOD!!! i hope
everyone finishes out their semester on a high note and that they are
ready for the endeavours to come!

| all is well here in abilene...christie and meagan bought the cutest
puppy ever and sweet little gordo is bringing joy to all our lives!!!
things with my dad are great! and just everything is
wonderful.... no complaints.... life is peachy and everything is in its
place for now... and i have faith that things will only get better from
here... "We live by faith, not by sight." 2 Corinthians 5:7
